I dont have any problem with playmobil. I respondend to your similar message over in the construction section of the forum. I suggested an easy option may be to use medium/heavy duty fishing wire. Not a keen fisherman my self but I do know the line has a BIG breaking strain. If you put a pair of hooks in the ceiling the same width as a plexiglass former, you could wire down from one hook under the plexi and back up to the second hook. Model boats use a "turnbuckle" which is a mine wire tensioner. Put one on one side of the wire and you could adjust the length of the wire loop quite easily. A similar method of suspension is used for some fluoerescent light fittings. You may need to put a couple of wires horizontally to a wall to stop an swing (if its high enough) And finally a local sign maker might be able to get the plastic laser cut to the former shapes, a lot easier than using a jigsaw.
