ttrigg I saw them ,thanks for the idea , when i go get some more log cabin s, i'll pick one up and try it ,         Vic  after i paint my bird houses i let them dry a day or two , then i spray them with about 4 coats of clear coat this seems to work for me ,this is my 2nd year on some of the bird houses, and they don't look to bad .  Ben[:D]
