Hello mgast Thanks for the view of the project - it looks fine. I also have a rather battered Bachmann 0-4-0 Porter locomotive from a start set, just collecting dust on a shelf - and feel tempted to do some kitbashing to it - however the underframe seems to be well worn, making it a terrible runner. Does anyone know if it is possible to obtain a metal underframe from anywhere. Thaks for any help Peter-DK
