Curves are very interesting and before you get into it too far you must consider the grades as well, they will both slow you locomotive up and this would be the sum of the two together. As i have said elsewhere you need plenty of traction, to overcome this. <br /> <br />In my area 1; I have 15 R1 curves going in all directions in 20 metres of track. It is truly a pain in the butt, but i have had no choice due to room available. <br /> <br /> <br />Rgds Ian
