OOPS… The wood is hard wood. I do not have any of the packages left that the wood came in or do I… HHmmm… The Co. that put them out is “ Foster “ here is a photo of them. But they are hard wood, not balsa. The sticks / boards are almost a pine color but no sap ( Thank GOD ). The package dose not say what type of tree they come from. I think it’s a good thing it’s a type of hard wood. I just see the Caboose snapped in half, after a hard couple or two. I have used some “Turtle Creek “ decals from the Model Railroader mag. That where released. I contacted the Decal publisher and found that they where a limited run and there where not many left. But they did offer to run more if I bought a large lot of them. I think the publisher was Micro scale not sure. I’ll have to look up the box of cut off rail and finde some other cool stuff for the deck. Thanks for the ideas!
