My first scratch built caboose

OOPS… The wood is hard wood. I do not have any of the packages left that the wood came in or do I… HHmmm… The Co. that put them out is “ Foster “ here is a photo of them. But they are hard wood, not balsa. The sticks / boards are almost a pine color but no sap ( Thank GOD ). The package dose not say what type of tree they come from. I think it’s a good thing it’s a type of hard wood. I just see the Caboose snapped in half, after a hard couple or two. <br /> <br />I have used some “Turtle Creek “ decals from the Model Railroader mag. That where released. I contacted the Decal publisher and found that they where a limited run and there where not many left. But they did offer to run more if I bought a large lot of them. I think the publisher was Micro scale not sure. <br /> <br />I’ll have to look up the box of cut off rail and finde some other cool stuff for the deck.
