To spend on your R.R. How would you spend it? This would be like winning a sweepstakes or something where the money had to go to the RR and nothing else! Sorry to all those abroad I don't know the coversion of that amount.
This could include track, dirt, plants,buildings, sound, RC, new locomotive, etc. You get the idea.

I would get my cab forward, more track, a keystone wall for my hill. Might help during the rain, and would look good also.

I've already got 20+ engines, 20 or so cars, all the trackworks done, I have most of my building facades done, Still have scenery to do, so I guess i would start with one of those fancy but $$$ photo backdrops, somewhere around Sedona would be nice.

A couple Accucraft Porters, a couple Whitcombs, a couple Plymouths, an LGB Chloe and an Olamana, some Feldbahn stuff.

Does renting a storage space somewhere so I could clear out the garage count? how about having someone come in and insulating and drywalling it and hanging an AC unit thru the wall so its not so [censored] hot in the summer or so [censored] cold in the winter? that would eat up 5K [D)][(-D][:-,]

I'd buy a Connie, Shay, Heisler, and a couple Annies, all with sound of course. Also as much rolling stock and track as I could with the balance. I'm tired of having to scratchbuild or kitbash every #*$%$##% thing I want.

I didn't have time to answer when I posted this so here's mine. A couple truck loads of dirt and one truck load of gravel for ballast. 300 ft of aristo flex and a couple switches. R/C- battery and sound installed in my Mogul. And then finish up with what's left in plants.

Vic, your special conditions of needing heat/AC is good to go with me, in fact after watching the Saga thread I'm thinking of building and indoor yard for those less then desirable Ohio days.

This is a hard one!
I really don't "need" anything. But i keep spending when I tell my wife I'm stopping.
New products are hard not to buy.
I guess i'd stock up on things looking toward the future. track switches,,etc

Supplies to start scratchbuilding my skyscrapers. Maybe hire a consultant to help me plant them right so that they withstand the elements. The balance to track and switches (if there's any balance left)

I'd buy a Big-Boy and a GG1 (USA Trains), that would use about 4000
real quick, and a couple DASH-9's with full sound and Command Control

I'd probably go for buying a bunch of 1:1 railroad ties and the fill dirt I need after they are installed anything left over into track.

Well I don't have to wonder I will be doing it, my superanuation had an incredible year in 2004 and we are off to Europe for three months home swapping. M/S Iandor has allocated me A$5000 to spend on "G" gauge trains in Europe.

In Germany I am going to purchase three LGB locos, all with sound, and MTS decoders. A Track Cleaning loco, a Crocodile and a Spreewald probably. I could get them cheaper elsewhere but factory fitted sound is what i am looking for, quite superior.

Of course when this is all over I will go back to buying "nothing" as previous like the rest of us.
