Here is something for you to think about Joe, when I was a kid my mothers family actually renewed a 99 year lease on a sheep station out west called "Wilga Mount".

A/ It was as flat as a board
B/ All the wilga trees died in the drought of 1936, the year I was born.

Anyway, this was our own property, 40,000 acres and the front gate was 1 and half miles away. (Oz wasn't metric then). 8000 sheep, 36 dogs, 200 cattle and about 50 old racehorses that no one wanted.

I have been to Texas and when it comes to being down right desolate, it has a long way to go to be anywhere near as bad as outback Australia.

Rgds

Ian
