Well this seems to have got things going a bit, but i really don't think its to do with falling snow; being tied up indoors would just stir the imagination up. No I justthink things get slow from time to time and then they pick up.

Gary I am retired now but I have had 35 years of going to Melbourne of business and I still cannot say a thing much good about it, it is really a boaring place.

Did you hear about the Melbournian that was so stupid even other Melbournians realised something was wrong?

To explain to our pom and Yankee mates . Australia is a very big country, 6 th biggest actually but it is pretty empty and it has only got 2 super cities, Sydney and Melbourne. So you can imagine the rivalry and anything insulting we can think of to say about each other we will. Although I live in Queensland i did live in Sydney for 60 years, so you know where I am coming from.

Another matter did you guys know Australia has its own code of football (AFL) which eminates from Melbourne; well every year we play against Ireland's Gaelic Football players in an international combination rules. Well last Saturday, Ireland gave Australia a hiding at Croke Park Dublin, I thought i would share that with you all.

Now for you Joe I know you think King Ranch is pretty big, well how does King Ranch stack up against Annie Station for size its 5.5 million square acres, its located right here in Queensland.

A bit of local news we have not been hit by monsoons here for 7 months but we got 75 mm (3") rain in a few hours early this morning and howling winds and I think it took out one end of my ICE Train. It was stabled in the new Vampires Tunnel and it blew a near wall of water right through it and the poor old Ice Train as well. One end works but the other is as dead as a DoDo.

Regsrds sadder but wiser Ian

Rgds ian
