Carpenter Matt Yes, I agree you must expose the children to it as much as possible. That's fine but the problem still remains - how do you even begin to describe the sound, the smell, the feeling of a steam engine? The toy shops are full of dinosaurs. The kids love them, although when last did anybody see a live one? So maybe with the help of museums and videos we can keep the flame burning. But still, it's not the same as being there. I'm not starting an argument here - just agreeing with you in my own way. [8D] Regards
