What I particularly liked was the outside cover advertising sleeve. When I took it out the mailbox my initial reaction was -- oh no, they have gone el cheapo and now have a cardboard cover instead of the normal fantastic glossy photo -- and this following the change at the beginning of this year from high quality glossy paper inside the magazine to something resembling sandwich wrap that is semi- transparent with stuff on the previous page shining through -- which completely ruined my habit of scanning things to keep in my computer for quick reference.

But this time the outer sleeve is a winner in my eyes because it protects the cover which was regularly shredded by our neanderthal mailman who is determined to force a 3" wad of mail through a 2" slot.

So yes, my vote also goes to the October issue as the best this year. Now can we go back to glossy paper inside??[?][:)]
