Joseph I am currently building an indoor switching layout only 11ft by 7ft, the small radius curves and small radius switches that are available make this easier than it appears on paper, and I can get a round-round in the plan. The difficulties I have met have been in ensuring the sidings are long enough. You will not get the empire you would with smaller scales, but you do get the size,weight and slow slow running of the large scale. Have you seen the article in January 2001 Model Railroader? You may get some ideas from that. Mac
