repair Help
Posted by Sp1d3y on Monday, March 7, 2011 11:35 AM

I acquired the aristocraft blue comet and an A-B-A set REA FA-1, FB-1 set.  The locomotives need some work done on them and are in need of a few repairs. Can anyone Help me in where to get them done?

Should I just send them back for repairs or do you know of a dealer that does repairs?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Jay

Hi Jay,  You should have a g gauge suppier in your neck of the woods he should be able to put you in touch with a repair centre if he does not do it. If you send them back to aristocraft  first I would email thier service centre and get a quote as to costs  its not the repair that is big dollers but the service charge and labour.    Check this first and see if its worth the cost.Smile     Hope this helps

Howdy Jay; I would check the Aristo sheet that came with the equipment to see how repairs are handled. I have three Aristo Train Engineer’s and have had all repaired a couple of times over the past fifteen years. I followed their instructions for repairs and received them back working like new at no cost except $20.00 shipping. Each time the invoices stated they were still under warranty!

Have fun, Rob
