Don't usually post on this Forum, but my wife pointed out this item is the Wichita Eagle this past Saturday (9/4/2010). It announces their annual Free Tour of several local/area Garden Railroads on September 11th from 10Am to 4Pm.
There are railroads displayed at Wichita, Augusta, Derby and Newton.
The information on this event can be had from Claudia Rollstin at her Garden Railway layout(?) and shop at 316-262-4300.
They will have directions available at each location for the other locations. I do not know very much about this part of the Hobby but we plan to at least visit a couple of the layouts, and look and learn!
The Tour went well, with an average attendance at each layout of 300.
