John: I can offer you many tips about scratchbuilding & kit bashing. I have used almost all the different kinds of materials & glues. Each product has pros & cons. It's never too late to try a new experience in any hobby. As you stated in another post, I do have a lot of mechanical ability. I would be glad to share my knowledge with you. Fishwagon
