need info for kitbashing a dd40x locomative.

I'm in the process of moving to G scale from N scale. I've been looking for information on building a up dd40x or at lest kit bashing one together.
I cant seem to find any plans or blue prints. Any suggestions[?]

WOW you must have a B-I-G backyard,

If a new g-scale DASH-9 needs a 10 foot diameter circle to work, a 20 foot diameter to look right , a DD 40 is going to look odd on anything smaller than a 20 foot diameter curve! As for plans i would ask on the Model Railroader forum for blueprints of the original beasty, after that you'll have to do a survey of what models on the LS market could be bashed together. I dont know HOW your going to do those 4 axle trucks though short of building from scratch. GOOD LUCK with it!
