Texas, ye have a monstor. Earlier today the GFDL Model had it coming into Arkansas as a 50 knot storm, but 168 knots before landfall somewhere near NO to the west. Before that one, the earlier model has it at 144 knots into NO proper.Now the new model animates the storm to hit into Houston/San A. It changes several times a day so we are not going to know for sure what this thing is going to land on... it seems to be staggering towards Jamacia and growing insanely fast.I for one would like to see this thing hit into the Mexican Mountains and get ripped apart.
