Brian,
LOL! She wouldn't see it as a trick really. She is just as into trains as I am, but she won't admit it. My most recent purchase was BECAUSE of her! We were at a LHS on my b-day and she saw an MTH C&O Streamlined Hudson, as soon as she saw it she said, 'You have to have that on your layout... you should buy it!' Then she realized what she said and just smiled, 'Of course it will cost you a new sofa!' LOL! She has a great sense of humor, of course buying the engine resulted in the purchase of 7 streamlined passenger cars too!

I think her reservation about GRR is that it will become addictive to her and she would be forced to admit she is a train addict too...

I've known her for 2 years now and my collection has doubled in size since we got married last June!

But thanks for the info! I will definitely look into it... btw - are you aware of a layout in Ellicott City? I was told about it today while at the LHS? I'll have to drop the owner an email and see if he can give the GRR owner my info...

Brent
