<p>No, no, mate not al all. You will pick power and commands up through the wheels from the track and an internal battery sometimes gives you standing sounds or continuity when you lose power.</p><p>You will also have a separate connection for a sound trigger, if you look closely you will see a minute whistle and bell.</p><p>I am not very good at these things and i would not attempt to put one in a loco. What i did do was to put one in a trailer and using LGB kuggel wheels, i got the whole thing to work quite well.</p><p>Rgds Ian</p>
