Unless I miss my guess those Marx cars are Jim and Debbie Flynn's reproductions from the 1990's.  The Flynn's reproduced the standard Marx cars but aside from adding their own embellishments didn't deviate from the standard patterns.

I didn't get any at the time, I wasn't interested in Marx of any kind, but now I'm kind of sorry I didn't.  The Flynn repros were elegant!

I haven't seen any with that configuration. They replicated the passenger car shapes from the Wells Fargo set.

When you go back to the 4-4-0 steamers here are some passenger cars to look for from New Marx.

 

These were made for TTOS and TCA conventions.
