This morning I took receipt of two Penn Central geeps. A GP38-2 and a GP40. I wasn't expecting them until the middle of next week. Somebody must have removed the tiddly-winks games from the post offices and made thumb twiddling a crime. I also got two decoders ahead of schedule. Now I'm feeling extremely tired again. Time to go lay down for a bit.

Nice Saturday......
Was out and about for a bit in the Reliant. Drives nice. Walmart CANNOT cut a key to save itself...go figure ...they tried TWICE...
Picked up the mounting and wiring kit for the soon to be purchased stereo. Found some wires unattached in the trunk and wound up having a working trunk light and dome light. Why they were unhooked is a mystery.
MRI shows I have something up there....looks like a brain, but cannot confirm. Monday the reveal is ON!!
Fife - I'd been following his progress and they had hopes of recovery. He was breathing on his own too. At 24, that's way too early. . Very sad, indeed. RIP
Thats all from Jersey....maybe tomorrow...!!!

Rich,
Do you have any small hardware stores nearby that cut keys? After getting fed up trying to get a key cut at BLowes, I went to a small family run shop in town. Got the key cut for $1 with no drama. They're my go to for everything now, even though their prices are a little higher. I'd rather spend a little more to support small business.
Found another first gen Probe locally. Clean 90 or 91 LX in Wild Strawberry with the Vulcan 3.0 V6. They're asking $3,995 (I know, I did a double take too), but I'll go see what's up with it on Monday.

Awesome weather today. Was up early so I worked a little on layout before the wife got up. She had cakes to work on so I worked out in the yard. I got those three bushes out finally. Me and the neighbor dug for awhile then I went and got the other neighbor to dig em out with his back hoe. Cost me a 20 pack of miller lite! - Well worth it!!
Went to a friends sons two year birthday party at the park. A little computer time then headed to work on layout.
Have a great evening all and see ya Sunday.
Temp is 66
Another nice day and a fun afternoon with family. More than enough to eat along with ice cream and cake. Still have Banilla for the Tardis guys..

Been working on this old Bachmann Plus loco today. It's running great. Of course there wasn't anything it didn't need.I'm still very tired. About to call it a day. It's 83 in here and I still feel cold in jeans and a long sleeve shirt and sweater. Believe it or not working on the loco about wiped me out. I have little energy and my arms feel like they're going to fall off.See y'all tomorrow. Too tired to do any more.
Good evening all,
It was cloudy now rainy in SE Indiana. Got the games in today. All were entertaining. Was going to see Ironman tonight, but too crowded at the theatre so we watched Argo at home. Very good movie. Sato qualified 12th for AJ's team and Simona is starting 8th. I hope everyone has a good day.
Keep on training,
Mike C. from Indiana
Hello all
Actually logging on the computer sitting in my room. Some changes made to the system, plus I changed rooms. So far, so good.
Got back from Socorro yesterday afternoon. Good to be home.
Today I managed to get a package in the mail and get an estimate for shipping on another. Then a meeting and going down to pay the cell phone bill (Cricket does not mess around BTW. If you are 1 min late off it goes). Parts for the Corvair not in until Monday. Seem to be hung up in Illinois. Kev must be holding them as collateral for the Docksider
May try and put the auxiliary electric fuel pump in tomorrow after work. May also help another guy change a rad hose on a Chrysler 3.3L. Smallest intake I've ever seen on a V style engine.
Rich - the 2.5 in the Reliant is the Mitsu engine? Those can run forever. Congrats on another Mopar purchase.
Need to grab another soda and pay some bills.

Hey guys - not much going on here. I went to Walmart and got a new pair of shoes and some medicine to replace the stuff that TSA ruined when they searched my bag. I found a little note in my bag that said they searched it, blah blah blah. Well they didn't put the lid back on my osteo-biflex and it spilled all over the inside of the bag with my dirty clothes. Oh well, I only had about a week left of it anyway I guess.
Rich, I had a similar problem with the AC on an old ranger I bought once. It wasn't working - found the ground wire was disconnected. Who knows why?
Went to see my daughter perform tonight with her choir - they were really good. Had some chocolate chip cookies and watching Animal House with the family. Good night
TARDIS is ready and SJ gave me the keys and topped off the tanks,so let's go!
RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.
I'm gonna try Home Depot tomorrow.. Forgot they were near Walmart and they cut keys....
Bob = the 2.5L is the bigger version of the 2.2L...simple, basic and easy to work on. ALL MoPar on this one. It's pretty peppy and not the slug the Pulsar is. Its SO QUIET!! Maybe I've grown up a bit......NAH! I'm debating on whether to use the stereo from the Wagon or buy a new one. The Pioneer 6X9's are in my possession just need to install. I want a Pioneer system, but they don't make the 3.5" front speakers I require for the Reliant. Also would like the capability to use the Android and USB ports for the Slacker Radio on my phone. If the car wash is open tomorrow, I'm going to get it cleaned and I'll wax it. I located the rear springs and price matched them to $60/pair. Money is allocated for that, just need to go get them.
The 3.3L is my favorite engine to work on.....another great engine and not bad to work with. They recalled the early ones for valve springs.....piece of cake to do. Especially on the Dynasty/5th Avenues.
Off to bed I think....
Good Morning from Blueberryhill RR....
It is a cool 50 degrees. Sunny. Going up to 75 today with sunshine.
Today is an easy day. I plan on relaxing and watching the Indians game, this afternoon. They are doing great. I hope it continues.
Dining car is here with Cheerios for breakfast.
Nascar race today from 'Dega. I don't like the two car drafting, but they do.
Y'all have a great Sunday.
Chuck

Typing up an English research paper today. Beyond that, no plans for today.

Granny is at church, my tummy is growling, not sure what I want. Her Red Wings got pounded with a 4 to 0 loss last night. A quiet day is in store unless something I'm not aware of happens. I wonder why I hit the Y key when I want T and visee-versee.....S.J.
Good Sunday Morning All!
Mostly sunny 51 going up to 58, probably cooler near the shore where HudsonJohn lives ( 5 blocks down the road).
Yesterday we went to Allaire State Park as they were having a craft fair so I took #1 daughter for a ride while we were there.
http://pinecreekrr.freeservers.com/
Being that she's not due until July I thought the ride was safe and a delivery wouldn't happen. They operate on ticket sales and membership only. The loco was diesel as they have a steamer out for refurbishing and expect it running in 3 - 5 years. The passenger car we road in was built in 1905 and was great to ride in, a bit uncomfortable but ok. RIJack - I had the same issue with Scotts this year and had to wet the lawn before spreading the fertilizer. Took more than twice as long to do the same job as before. HudsonJohn - I'll see ya soon to look at the catalog. You can rip out the pages the have diesels before I get there. Have a great day.

Great software. All was in black font when i hit "post". So i go back to edit and it shows all black font!
Wonder what color this will be?
BTW. I forgot to mention that the ticket prices are $4.00. Cheap at twice the price considering what the money goes for.

Hi All,
It has been a while since my last post after the York Meet. Been kind of busy. So in short besides T-Ball games, I have helped one brother-in-law move, and another brother-in-law with some tree removals for his in-laws, which my thank you gift other than a great dinner, and case of beer, was a case of Poison Sumac which I have never had before, and have for the past three day been on Prednisone to help get ride of it, which I am happy to say is coming along quit nicely. So in a nut shell that's what I have been up to. And to end this beautiful Sunday I have a Christening to got to later on. Not even the first day of summer and already it's go go, go; but at least the weather has been great. Well hope you all have a great rest of the weekend. Talk to you all soon!
Good morning. It's 54° with 54% humidity. Isn't that a coincidence. It'll be sunny with a high of 68°.I don't really know what I'll be doing today. I'll probably put a decoder in the GP40 I rebuilt yesterday. The parts all seem to get along with each other considering they're from two different eras. As the frame was missing one coupler mount and the other mount was damaged I body mounted Kadee 242 draft gear boxes. They had to be put together in a stacked configuration with each stack being two boxes thick and held together by super glue and a screw.I feel better today than I did yesterday though I still feel like crap. At least I don't feel like I'm freezing anymore. I've come to the conclusion that I have a really bad cold.
Good afternoon all,
Sato P1 for AJ in Brazil. All is right with the world.
Afternoon fellasSpent yesterday running ehrands in the morning, then spent the afternoon at TheQ's cousin's open house. Christina had a blast with the two young boys their friends brought over and their dog. Was very nice time. Spent this morning getting setup to build the replacement bridge... I'll try to post picks this evening if all goes well.Tomorrow and Tuesday I am home alone with the kiddos. TheQ is presenting at her first conference tomorrow in Boston. Was hoping to go with her but didn't seem worth it with everything we would have to take for the kids... too much hassel in the airports.

It is cloudy in SE Indiana. Sato finishes 2nd at the line as his tires faded away, but still moves into the points lead heading into Indy. Last time Foyt team lead the points was 1998. A good day all around as Sarah's driver was 5th and Simona was 8th. I hope everyone has a good day.
