A great way to get a laugh.I had some mad money laying around so used some of it to pick up a Digitrax DZ125 decoder on Ebay. $21.99 total. I'll use it to change out the one in one of Bachmann GP7's. That one has a damaged lighting circuit. The light stays on all the time. It won't turn off for anything and comes on the instant power goes to the track no matter what loco is selected. Other than the light problem the decoder works fine, so I'll likely put it in a slug unit that doesn't need a light.

Sold 2 trees last night, 217 to go....it has been a might chilly the last few, including the sleet and freezing rain from Tuesday.

Only hunting for the big boys. 10 pointers or big 8. Carried digital camera. Was going to zoom in on him and photo for you to see. Will try that tomorrow if under 10 points.

Got my laundry done, made the bank deposit and picked up some items I needed from Lowe's. That's my day done. My mother goes back to the nursing home today. She needs care and physical therapy we can't give her here. Just moving her from room to room is a major chore and usually requires more than one person. Problem is during the day there's no one else and I can't move her on my own. I did that yesterday and today I can hardly move. A family vote was taken yesterday and the vote was that she goes back for as long as the insurance lasts. Even she voted yes. In the meantime something will have to be set up for 24/7 care.

Talking about a story, here is one for you. My wife's sister lives in California by Long Beach and has been a Heroin junky for more than 25 years, Claims she is not now. Anyway she has a doctor that has claimed that she is bipolar so the great state of California is giving her more money a month than I will get after 40 years of working for a living from the SS fund. What is wrong with that??? California's tax dollars at work.
Two months ago she called the MIL and said when she was throwing the trash into the dumpster she went over the rail with it and broke both arms and legs so she was in the hospital on the state's dime????? Yeah RIGHT I would of loved to seen the people she owed the money to, do that deed.

"Not only are these buyers serious, but they are expecting to spend substantial sums," he said. The update on the sale of the company's brands came as Hostess seeks approval in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the Southern District of New York in White Plains, N.Y. to give its top executives bonuses totaling up to $1.8 million as part of its wind-down plans. The company says the incentive pay is needed to retain the 19 corporate officers and "high-level managers" during the liquidation process, which could take about a year. Two of those executives would be eligible for additional rewards depending on how efficiently they carry out the liquidation. The bonuses would be in addition to their regular pay. The bonuses do not include pay for CEO Gregory Rayburn, who was brought on as a restructuring expert earlier this year. Rayburn is being paid $125,000 a month. The good news is it sounds like someone will be making them.

Chief, good snow clearing video. Did you ever see the SP company film called Snow on the Run? That's a good one too about one of the worst storms on record in the Sierras in California. Snow was up to the top of telephone poles in places. Lineman were walking along in snow shoes pulling wires out of the snow. That's the year the City of San Francisco passenger train got stuck up there and had to be rescued by the Army.

Jeffrey, hope you are feeling better. When I have a similar pain, I'm usually told that it is because my tiny brain is working too hard.

Running late, sorry. Prayers for those in need. Had the HVAC guy out for clean and check this morning - all is well. Spent a few hours doing drywall - all done except corner beads and block in one pipe, move a couple wires and then ready to tape and mud. Nice chat with the guys tonight - lots of talk about Ivor and Transformers (trains).

Got my day torpedoed before it even started! Got out everything I needed to start work on a project when my father calls. Needs me to look after my mother for a little while so he can go get a few things done. Sure, no problem. That was about 11:30 am. Here it is almost 9:00 pm at their place! I just her to bed a little while ago. Now I have to get the kitchen straight and finish some laundry. What happened to my father? He didn't there was a twelve hour work shift involved! He gets off at 11:15 tonight. I've already told him he owes me $80. If I'm going to work as a nurse I'm darn well gonna get paid for it!! My time is worth something! This also means I'll be out of commission tomorrow. I'm already hurting bad and tomorrow I'll be worse.Time to call it a day. I may be on again tomorrow.

Kevin the pain and chills will last at least a full day, the crud in your throat, about a week. We did go out and eat with our friends but granny did not get close to anyone. She laid on the couch and went to bed at 8 o clock. She even missed her kids class at church and that is very rare. Banilla is ready and I shall wait for the thingy.
