Williams Trains at TCA York, PA. Union Pacific Heritage Locomotives.

Williams Trains at the TCA in York, PA mentioned in October that they will produce Union Pacific Heritage Locomotives.

If someone is at the Williams Trains Display, please check to see if they have any of the Union Pacific Heritage Locomotives on display.

Those are such surreal and attractive paint schemes that I have to see how faithful the Williams Trains renditions will be on the finished EMD Diesel-Electric Locomotive.

Based solely on the catalog images, they look very nice. I'm just glad UP is not one of my lines-of-interest because I probably would be tempted to go for the entire set of locomotives.

I seriously doubt that they'll have pre-production prototypes available for viewing at York, but could be wrong about that.

I saw the MTH versions at the Worlds Greatest Hobby Tour in Pittsburgh and the DECALS looked unattractive. The engine was very, very nice but, I thought they could do a better job on the decals, they had visable creases in them!Sigh [sigh]   I'm sure the engines on the shelves will really be nice!!
