Received the engine today, runs and works like a charm! What a nice engine MTH made with this one. Battery seems to be nearly dead though and won't take a charge, is this normal? Thanks, Jake

You may need to buy a new battery.

Contact MTH because the battery should be ready to run or just need an overnight charge (14 hours for a new battery)from the optional plug-in charger which can be purchased for about $15.00 a your local hobby store.

I don't recommend charging from the track as you may forget the power is on to your track.
