Cleaning wheels before storing
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, January 13, 2007 9:39 AM

Hi Everyone,

Today I am pakcing up my North Pole Central set until next Christmas. Because of the environment of being on the floor, along with having 4 cats, there is a lot of dust and fur stuck to the wheels. Easy enough to wipe off, but is there anything specific I can use to clean the wheels before packing them up for next Christmas? I dont want to put anything on them that might risk rust, and I planned on waiting to oil them until I unpacked them to set them up again. Can I just use the track cleaner or should I use something else? Thanks,

PJ

I'd just vacuum the wheels and trucks to remove the hair and dust. No protective coating is really required.
