Would they run?

I have all Lionel stuff including FasTrack. If I decited to buy a MTH or Rail King engine, would it run with my present TMCC system without making changes? That is, the remote control, etc. Would the MTH engines be the same larger scale size as the Lionel?

If you mean would the TMCC remote control the MTH engines? NO.  If you want remote control of the MTH PS2 engines you have to add the DCS system.

                     You can run MTH locomotives with TMCC, but they will run in conventional mode.  If you buy an MTH loco  with Protosound 2.0,  I would encourage you to buy the DCS system so you could get the most out of the loco.  Besides, the button sequences required to activate certain PS2 funnctions are difficult to enter with the cab 1 remote.
