Do they have used stuff at the store? I'm going to near there and wondered if it  is worth  an extra  hour drive. Thanks, Denny

It's a good size retail store with all new stuff in all gauges.  All the old stuff is in display cases mounted on the walls.  It's some of Charlie's collection although not for sale.  The only time I've seen old stuff available is on some tables  usually beginning in late Jan.  Sometimes, there'll be some old stuff in the front cases like steamers.  I did buy a Lionel 2056 there.  Generally, there isn't a whole lot of used stuff there.

There is some old stuff for sale, but not a lot. Seeing the old stuff on the wall in those display cases is  almost worth the trip in itself though. These display cases are what, 20 feet long and 6 or 8 feet high. And they are filled with incredible old trains in like new condition. Quite a sight!

Dr. Tinker, who advertises in the back of each CTT has a lot of great old stuff for sale. He's in Lexington, not far from Charles Ro. I work right down the street from him. I was just there last week and he had all kinds of post war locomotives, and parts to fix them.
