The Best Benchwork that I've Ever Seen
Posted by dlagrua on Saturday, July 1, 2006 7:02 PM
In the past I made my own benchwork, that is until I saw the work of a "old school" master carpenter by the name of Richard Cannon who has a state of the art carpentry shop here in Central NJ. The module benchwork that Cannon manufactures is of a unique design of his own making and is rock solid.
Being pressed for time and finally finding someone who made Benchwork so excellent I could not resist; I decided to purchase 15 benchwork modules of all different sizes and shapes so that I could complete my layout.
Today I got in the pickup truck and went to Piscataway to pick up the benchwork. The materials used were all high grade #1 wood (no pressboard), everything was glued and screwed together and the workmanship was absolutely flawless. The best thing were that the prices were about 1/2 of what I expected to pay. Rich Cannon can be reached at 732-926-8230 Right now he is just setting up a new number so you may get a generic message. However, Rich will return your call.
