1935 or 36 american flyer

Can any one tell me anything about the 1935 or 1936 american flyer train set? This train set i had back when i was growing up and i still have it. The train set still work. [?]

Welcome to the forum. Could you give us some numbers from the engine and cars. Common engine from back then was a 1218 electric. Am. Flyer made alot of different models. So some numbers would help.
