I have vintage 1958 Tyco Stearmliner set.4 cars. All metal except for endplates on the cars. The engine has been stripped of paint.Am looking for color photo or picture,so I can repaint. The set runs great and just want to keep it around.
Thanks

I have a group of these, too, but didn't get them as a set. The car bodies are extruded aluminum, with an aluminum base and all metal trucks. I have the die cast Baldwin Sharknose (actually an RF-15, not 16 as the ad said), and like you said it runs great. Unfortunately, I got all the cars as undecorated so can't help you with colors. Usually cars of this vintage just had a stripe in the railroad's color on the letterboard and the railroad name there.
