K-line superstreets....

I seen K-lines new SuperStreets on ther web site, looks kind of cool.
Anyone seen these or have them yet? If so what do you think about them.
I'm working on a track plan was thinking about maybe using them on my layout.
Dose anyone know what track is compatible with there grade crossing?

Ol Red's advice is to get some feedback from people who bought the stuff before you go sink any dough into it. Plus with K-line being in bankrupcy, production may be shut off. Those streets look more like European trolley tracks to me.

We have a review coming up in our December issue. I thought the track looked best as a base for street railways, but then we didn't have any vehicles with simulated rubber tires to run on it, just trolleys, motorized units, etc.

Are any components actually available yet?

I have been checking with Caboose Hobbies, I want to touch and feel before buying, but they won't even give a date.

Anyone seen them in a store?

What we received from K-Line was in regular retail packaging, so it shouldn't be too far behind unless K-Line's other problems stop it from shipping.

We tested curves, straights, fitter sections, and an interesting "into" curve curved section with an angled gap for the flange of the vehicle/train running on the road.

I was just on vacation in NYC and went over to Brooklyn on the F train got of at Ditmas Street stop, went downstairs and went inside Trainworld yes those people with low price multi page Lionel closeout ads in CTT and MTH in OGR. They had only the track section packs that Ogaugeoverlord says. But I also picked up some closeout MTH cars for under $20 each and the Reading Plymouth set for under $80. So it's small radius running for me these days. An O gauge layout under 2 feet wide thats not a P2P.

I got 2 Curve sets of 8 pieces that make full 16 3/4 inch circles if you count from the edge of the plastic. One 10 inch straight pack that comes with 8 sections. and Each comes with a few extra manhole covers that go over the screw down holes. And one transitional straight to curve pack of 4 at 2.5 inches each. The transition packs were $5 and the others $14. My plan was to make a simple starter dumbell shaped trolly layout with double track in the middle. Now that I've heard all of this Kline greaf I wish I got more. It fits together nicely. I hope this is all up in the air still because I really want some more as well as the other specialized track like the crossings and turnouts. The short transition sections I got change from the narrow gaps for the flanges in the straightaways to the wider ones for the tight curves. If Kline is still around to make new parts for this a curve with a wider radius that could fit around the current curve would be great. For double tracking on a curve.

All in all I really like this and hope more is to come.
