Santa Fe Super liner passenger set

I saw this at the Harper show yesterday before I had a chance to ask about it the owner had it packed up gone . I should have asked one of his buddies didn't think that far ahead .It was a well polished set think It was MTH the F-3's looked like my ABA set want to know if it is MTH , and if it is still available . It was set up on a club layout, my wife even noticed it so you know it looked great. I think the club was the high wheel or rail modular.If any of you knowof the club or how to hook me up with this set any info. would be apreciated. [oops] [banghead]

I'm not certain what you saw, but MTH has made a plastic car bodied set of Superliner cars. Lionel and K-line made a sets too only were made of extruded alumium. From your description I'd suspect you saw a set made bt K-line. They offered a "El Capitain" set ABA F-3's in Santa Fe with High Liner cars. You can check with K-line to see if any are still available. Currently they're listed as sold out at the factory, but check the web. Thank's Dave those car's look very much like what I saw . One of them was a transition car from a standard coach and there was a baggage coach between it and the engine's. I wish I had my camera with me ,I'm hopeing that one of the club member's see this post ,now that I corrected my spelling, [:)] Santafekent . Thank's again Mike

They are K Line ,they are not available thru them. I walked in to my favorate LHS and saw it on display, missing the transistion set.He told me he sold it the day before. He ordered the set in . And2 wk's later I have the set at home . It look's great,a friend told me to give K Line a try. He was wright. I want to thank all for your help. Mike when I get a chance I will post pic's [:)]

I recevied a flyer from the Western Depot yesterday they have a 18" Amtrak Transition sleeper on sale and the complete 2 level Pennsylvania 'Raymond Lowey' cars, but not
Amtrak. http://www.westerndepot.com/ You might try calling the Eastern depot in Pennsylvania. they may have a set. http://www.easterndepot.com/ If not maybe K-line will run them again sometime, or you'll run arcoss a set on Ebay.
