Has anyone tried using this device on a burning house or trestle?

Haven't tried it but you should be able to construct one yourself. If you haven't seen one in person....it's real simple. Thin fabric....like silk colored like flame.......an air supply to make it stand up and move and a light. I've built large ones to use on stage for bands. Doing a small one for trains shouldn't be too hard. Possibly use a small fi***ank filter pump for the air supply.

If you want to go in another direction, I have seen people use incense (spelling?) in buildings that look like they already had a fire.
