I keep trying to talk the boss into a CTT Centipede, but he's a tough man to convince. He seems pretty dedicated to the concept of "not losing your shirt" in any big project!

If it doesn't have connecting rods, cow catcher, smoke stake with syc. smoke and 4 chuff per rev. who really wants it.

I am a person with a very active inner child. This is why my wife loves me so. Willoughby, Ohio - the home of the CP & E RR. OTTS Founder www.spankybird.shutterfly.com

Jim, at least your doing a heck of a job advertising for them.

As you've seen, I already ordered a pair. I wouldn't necessarily call it sucking up as I don't care who owns the place. They put out a great magazine, I like Beeps, and Walter Matuch of Ready Made Toys is a great guy to deal with.

Bob, if you mention "ALLOCATED" in your advertising, people will line up at your door.

Hey CTT:
Please continue to do what you do best and that is publish a great magazine. Leave the Beeps to others!

Skip the CTT Beeps and add 3 more issues. If I buy Beeps they will be for a real railroad and not a magazine.

I got tha special edition BNSF (at the higher price, 64.95) awhile back, it's pretty snazzy looking, good color match as well. I installed a Mini Beep board in it from ElectricRR so it would have TMCC capability.

These Beeps are more of a novelty item for me. They do not regularly grace my layout. Only when I want some sort of whimsical train running around. They make excellent engines for the kids though, they can't go fast enough to fly off the tracks and my boys love the Army and Navy Beeps they got for Christmas. Best of all, they are quiet runners

Bingo! I agree completely...when you're in a whimsical mood, these really fit the bill. I enjoyed my Christmas BEEP w/its matching caboose during the Holidays - it looked more "natural" in my setting at this time than the most accurate scale model ever could..

Hello Bob Keller ! I guess you're fortunate that Jim didn't ask for a Corvair with a Ctt logo on it ! Getting your Boss approval would be like[banghead] Although they do smoke they've neither side rods or flanged wheels.[:)]....Keith
