BOO y'all!

Newest addition to our 4-4-0 stable is TRR #13. The crew has named her "Elvira", after the original goth gal. Here she is passing Skull Rock.

A bit of black and orange for all hallows eve.

BTW I have the 8005 James Gang General and it can barely handle 5 light cars.

My layout was actually built for my roster of Lionel 4-4-0s. All 4 lines were built as level as I could keep them, with zero grades. The high line has a minor downgrade on one end of the long wooden trestle, as that portion "settled" a touch. So that's why they appear to pull decent sized consists. I don't have any of the DC Generals, so I haven't experienced their shortfalls.

While there's still time, check out what I found at Cracker Barrel! The Mystery Machine, and it's somewhere between 1/43 and 1/50 scale. And for $12.99, can I hear "Jinkies"?

Northwoods, you always have some handsome trains.
