Mornin' guys and gals. Sunny and regreshingly cool along the Patterson Creek cut-off. Summer is flying by, but not soon enough to knock out those little circling nats. I imagine that Northwoods is already breaking out his flannel shirts.Laugh

fife,

LOL  What makes you think that I ever put them away?  Its 64 and sunny here this morning.  The temps have been very warm here but nothing like the blistering heat that the rest of the country has been experiencing. It is supposed to be 78 for a high today and the warmest we will get is week is 82.  Night time temps have dipped into the 50s.  Lake Superior has an amazing influence on our weather.  Sometimes the temperature along the lake front is 20 degrees lower than further up the hill - less then 2 miles away.  Our house sits close enough to the lake to benefit from the lake breezes.  We won't talk about our lack of rain or the brutal winters.

Have a great day.

Morning all. Today is a cooler day, with it starting at 72* this a.m. and only going to 88* today

No real plans for today, been working a little on train layout. I now have a 1/2 oval in O72 and O63 with my EM1 on outside and my Alleghany on the inside.

Another month has passed us by. Northwoods, nice here as well not as cool as you but way better than a lot of other places. This keeps up and there will be a influx of unwanted sorts from the hot places. Tongue Tied Glad I am old. Wink Been working on yard projects and other outside things. Did run the trains for the 17 YO grand daughter and her friends. Those kids had never seen anything like it. Laugh

The pup is over 10 months old now and I am pleased with her in every way. She is going to be a great dog. Very mindfull and has a great drive to make us happy with the way she behaves. Glad she leans to her German Shepard side. Yes

Be good, I best get.

And down water from the Northwoods of Gitchigumi we're very happy to receive the cool breezes blowing down to Erie's south side.  Wink

Well I put into motion before I put brain in gear this afternoon. I got my router out and put 1/2" bit in and set it at 7/16" deep, Then sat my Hell Gate bridge where I wanted it, and traced it out. Removed it and started using the router and then went oh you dumb dumb, Pictures will tell the rest, the EM1and the Alleghany was about 5' behind me.

So I have some trains to detail clean before even think about running

Mornin' guys and gals. Partly sunny and warm in the Potomac Highlands. Fifedom is prepped and ready for my buddy Tom's visit this weekend. He's bringing crab cakes from back home for dinner. Tomorrow we'll be headed to Altoona.

Did get the latest CTT. YesCool

Mornin' guys and gals. Can't decide if it wants to be sunny or rainy here along the Allegheny front-range. Ms Kelly has Fifedom all prepped for the grandsons, who arrive tonight. Fishing tomorrow, water park Wednesday.

Had a great visit with my buddy, Tom. Spent Saturday in Altoona. Lots of NS action up on the curve, and hobby shop visits. Neely's new store will be a must stop on future visits.

Wayside - Good looking pick-ups, the IC boxcar in particular.

Evenin' guys and gals. Sunny and 87 in the Potomac Highlands. Rough night, as FifeMax struggled with a thunderstorm. We took shifts to calm him down. Made it to the chapter caboose for the morning run, then came home and watched Nascar.

Wifey has spent the day cleaning and putting her house back in order, after the grandsons' visit. I have a couple of engines that need servicing, but my eyes are too tired today. The new AF shelf is already full. I hadn't realized that I had amassed that much S gauge.

any type of trains grow faster than you realize, but that is a good thing.

Hi all, boy slow here on the POT. Rolled over another year Saterday. Now 71. Both kids and all the grand kids, but the two oldest showed up on Sunday. It was so nice to have them all here at one time. We had a great time but mostly it was all outside. No train time.

I did get the 1975 Triumph T160 running last week and went for a nice ride. Waxed it up and put it back in storage.

Weather has been perfect, high 70s and low to mid 80s, so I am taking it as long as I can. Wink

Be good.

Mornin' guys and gals. Sunny & 68 along the Patterson Creek cut-off. Yard work in the AM, health check-up in the PM, then Chapter meeting after dinner. Yesterday I tried to photograph CSX911 up in Cumberland, but couldn't get a good angle. Oh well, next time. Can't wait for CSX 1869 to pass by.

KRM - Happy B-Day
