2-3 years ago, there was as an article about a new york city themed layout built by a layout construction company in New York. I dont think it was Dunham Studios. Not sure how best to search it, so I come here. It was a two level deal with the upper level supported on steel girders as old fashioned elevated lines in the cities used to be. Anyone recall?
Man, there's been so many. You may be thinking about layouts built by TW Trainworx of Dallas TX. They've built a number of NYC-themed layouts for display at various places in the city, usually around Christmas time.

It is trainlayout builders. David Geyra runs the Company, and they have moved from New York to Tennessee. Also he turnEd down my request on a quote because he's simply booked right now for about a year. Three years ago, one of his layouts with a New York City theme was featured in classic toy trains.
"Trainlayout Builders." I vaguely recall them, but I'm not surprised they're booked for at least a year. From what I've heard most professional layout builders are in pretty high demand.
Sounds like a growth industry!
