Lumber Loader review
Posted by JFermani on Tuesday, February 6, 2001 12:01 PM
With all the talk about Lionel going overseas, I thought I would share this review.....

Over the weekend I went to a train show and picked up Lionel's new Lumber Loader. At $80 dollars its very affordable. I aslo picked up the matching car. Not having seen the original I was unbiased in my opinion of it. It worked right of the box with no problems. Motor is quiet and the illumination is a nice touch. It can be connected to a SC1 or 2 for remote operation. Very well constructed with stamped metal. This accessory should last a very long time. The only sour point is the bulb replacement. They instruct you to bend the metal tabs to remove the light housing to get to the bulb. UGH!!! Those tabs are a lousy design and are just begging to be broken. Other than that I love the new accessory and the price is right. O yeah, alost forgot - Its made in China for Lionel :)

How about a long-term review?
