Excel or Excel Readable Lionel Postwar List All Items?
Posted by fixall on Thursday, March 10, 2016 1:13 PM

Currently I use a paper copy of all Lionel Postwar items and simply yellow marker items I buy.   This is error prone.  It would be nice to have this in Excel with it's sort, find, etc features.  I dont really want to hand type this all into Excel.

Do you have or know where I can get an Excel list or any electronic list that I can then import to Excel of all the Lionel Postwar items...would be nice to include:  Number, Name of item and Years made ??

Thanks

Ken

You could make one.  I made one for pre-war Flyer O gauge.  Simply get all of the catalogs and enter the items as they are shown/described in the catalogs.  Of course that will not include uncataloged items.

Using a price guide (e.g., Greenberg's for individual items or TM's for sets) as a data source may be more efficient than thumbing through catalogs.
