Lionel - Williams Berkshires & 027

I have questions similar to Locojunkie about what will run on 027 tracks. Pjwilson stated that his Lionel 736 Berkshire could go through 027 curves and 027 switches? If it can, does that mean that current Williams Berkshires can also make it through 027 curves and switches? Half the people I talk to say that Berkshires have no problem with 027 curves and the others say 027 curves are too tight which causes the wheels to “bind”. What is everyone else’s your opinion?

jhkogel,

I have run my PW Lionel 726 over 0-27 trackage for many hours with no problems. I do not have a Williams, but I would assume it should be OK if it is indeed a copy of the Lionel (i.e. same wheelbase) which most reviews say it is.
