3659 Dump Car Rescue
Posted by Tootle on Thursday, November 13, 2014 12:13 PM
Hi all. I'm in the process of refurbishing a 3659 Dump Car. Can anyone tell me what size/thread/type screws are used to fasten the motor assembly to the car body? I think they're #2's but I'm not sure of the thread. Olsen has some info on the car but nothing on these screws. Thanks in advance. Frank Silvia

Try the parts list for the 3559. The screws are listed, and may be the same on both cars.

I did one of those dump cars not long ago, and it was missing some screws,. I think they are the 4-36 ones shown on the list Larry provide the link to.

Thanks very much for your help. I also checked in with Jeff Kane at The Train Tender as well and he verified them as #4-36X1/8" RH.
