350 Transfer table
Posted by Guido on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 9:48 AM
I am having difficulty with my 350 transfer table. At a certain point in moving an engine from one track to another the unit stops moving although the motor is still running. I have cleaned all points and have examined the underside but I do not see how this units fails. Any thoughts?

You may want to check the worm wheel (350-111). I has one with similar symptoms. The teeth were work from the vinyl/plastic wheel. I replaced it with a brass work wheel from Jeff Kane at ttender.com.

Thank you for your response. Questions: 1. What does it look like, 2. Is it in the yellow housing? My unit is a modern day version. When I opened the yellow housing, there appeared to be a lot of electronics inside. The motor appears to be working since it continues to make noise but a some point in moving an engine from one track to another it just stops moving. There also appears to be a depression in the black plastic rail in the middle of the base that runs along the middle chrome rail. The unit appears to stop there. I obviously know very little about the 350. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks
