Hi Trainboy 1958, welcome to the forum.

Did you have a question in regards to the Alaska RR switcher ?

yes I would like to know if there is any other switcher that has the same power truck as the 614 , it seems that the 614 has a 3 wire coil unlike most with 2

I am under the impression that the orignal Postwar Lionel 614 Alaskan swticher does has a unique power truck.
There are other switchers that have a double wound field (3 wire coil) , but I don't know whether any of those switchers would have single axle magnetraction, as the 614 should have.

What makes the 614 power truck unique is the fact that the coupler is mounted with a rivet (614-102), as opposed to the "T" shaped coupler shaft.
