if i bought the Bachmann overland limited HO train set would it work with the CW-80 80-watt transformer?

The Lionel CW-80 produces AC current and a 1/3 more voltage than used with "HO Gauge" It will DESTROY the DC motor in an "HO" train.
You need a 12 Volt DC Power Pack for "HO".
