The 790 Trainarama was a set of cardboard scenic backdrop panels from 1953.

Nice Layout Jim, the back drops add a lot of dimension.  I have no progress to show off this weekend but I am the host of the Traveling Boxcar this week....

I found it at ToysRus, this one is the 1/32 scale and it fits perfectly with other 1/43 scale vehicles and the best part is it was on sale for 1/2 price, only $2.49.

A short train passes the diner and the Coca Cola bottling plant in town. A streamlined Marx 391 and the Bogota coach on a midday run. It's a necessary trip for the railroad to make connections with the inter-city passenger runs. But not enough ridership on the branch to warrant any more coach seats.
