New MTH SD70, has a problem. Need help.

I have a problem with new MTH SD70, I just bought at YORK.  Seems when I start to go at slow speeds it will lurch, or hesitate, then about 5 minutes later will slow down when it is running at about 50 MPH.  Run a little bit more and it will come to a stop.  Gave it the feel check above motors and they are very hot.  I reprorgramed the engine but it still does the same thing in forward and reverse. Anyone know anything bout this?  Do I have to contact MTH or is there and easy fix?  I did pre lube all points.  Thanks for your info.

Try running it with the wheels in the air, to see whether the two trucks want to run at the same speed.  Can motors that aren't matched for speed might be the problem.  Otherwise, you might see some other difference in behavior that will help you to isolate the problem to one truck or the other.
