Finally got it pretty much complete, not all the same era equipment but it works for me. Still have a few minor touches but they aren't critical in my humble opinion.

Enjoy the rest of the day, and play safe !

Before and after for the "San Diego 3Railers", www.sd3r.org .

In link #1 we were still a modular group that set-up where & when we could find space, including the S.D.Model RR museum.

Link #2 is "post modular" and a permanent exhibitor in the museum.

News Flash

The BlueBoard Central Division of American Flyer Lines has been given a massive land grant.  Delicate negotiations have been going on for months to obtain additional land for expansion.  Recently the right to expand was granted.

You may remember the basic configuration of the BlueBoard Central Division was two loops of track with a very inconvenient duck under.

The epansion will allow for the elimination of the duck under and the rail line will now become a folded dogbone.

Maintenace of way crews began work immediately on temporary land contouring and track laying.  All curves are 48", mainly to accomodate the Queen of the Fleet - the 1937 Hiawatha.

The expansion will require the relocation of major portions of the town and its buildings.  Crews are working on the monumental task.

The management, town folks, visitors and the old guys down at the coffee shop are all in agreement that this is a good thing for the future.

Excellent pictures this week as usual folks.
