Don't own one, but the service manuals( $16.47 from Amazon, http://www.amazon.com/Greenbergs-Repair-Operating-1945-1969-Manuals/dp/0897784553/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1247019696&sr=8-1) doesn't show one in the wiring diagram or exploded view, nor does it mention anything about one in the written description.

So, I'm going to say no.

Okay, Because I saw the wiring diagram as well and it shows no bulbs.  But, I read a description on ebay of a 282 and it says it has a red bulb inside that lights up.  Maybe they got it mixed up with a 182.  Thanks.

It doesn't, but I added a blinking red LED in mine to indicate when the magnet is energized.

Mine is original, so I will make sure not to put a red light inside and I will check that there is not one in there.  Thanks for the help.
