FM Trainmaster Shells - 2331
Posted by aceape on Thursday, April 9, 2009 8:43 PM

Hello,

Does anyone know a hobby shop or parts supplier where I might find a repro shell for the Virginian 2331 Trainmaster (yellow and black)? I want to switch out the mustard yellow shell on a Williams Trainmaster.

Thanks,

Bernard

Its very unlikely that you would find another shell as Lionel shells are not always a match for Williams frames. Your best bet would be to have a new paint job done by one of the Train painters. The two best that I know of are Elliot Wells and the famous Len Carparelli who is part of CTT magazine. I won't say it here, but if you send me a pm I will tell you who NOT to have paint your train.
