The phones disconnected and i made some inquiries, seems they just dropped off the Earth. Very nice guys and i am concerned. Any leads?

If you are looking for a rare train, ask i might surprise you with an asking price!!! A guy asked if i liked fast track, and i replied i used t-rail. He said eww that old stuff you bolt together???? Ignorance must be bliss!

Well, the website is still up. Maybe try emailing them? Scratch that. Doesn't look like they have an email address listed. Sad

This is my dad's business. He no longer accepts orders via phone, but he is available via email. His address is bhigg50@yahoo.com and he lists many parts on Ebay under the user name ModelEngineeringWorks. Hope this info is helpful. :)

Big Smile  Hi guys.

As regards the Model Engineering Works (MEW) parts, we are exclusive parts supplier to the public. Our business is Hennings Trains , located in Lansdale, Pa.  You can view the parts available on line at our web site. www.henningstrains.com.   IMPORTANT !!!  ,click on "ENTER STORE", then on left hand side you will find all of the MEW parts pictured, that we have in stock.  We are stocking approximately 25 new items every 5-6 weeks, or as MEW finds time to manufacture  and / or repair / upgrade tooling. There are close to 700 items that will be available, as time permits.  The parts include Lionel, Ives, American Flyer, and a few Dorfan.      I hope this provides some light on your questions.   Mr H Cool

FYI, Henning's Trains has recently purchased Model Engineering and will be resuming the production of many of the products as soon as all the equipment can be moved back East and setup for production.

I'll probably be visiting Hennings Trains Thankgiving weekend, time permitting.

Great place, nice people!  Worth a visit if you find yourself in the Lansdale PA area.

Then head down Valley Forge Road and visit the Distelfink Bakery, you'll love that place too!
