NEW LIONEL OPEARATING ACCESSORIES!
Posted by TXT on Thursday, January 15, 2009 9:47 PM

Good evening everyone! I have three questions!

1)Does anyone have one of the Great western train operating Horse car and corral? If so how is it working in general?

2)Along the same lines, does anyone have the K-line operating milk platform? And how is it working out?

I have 8 yr boy and 5 yr old girl and would like to know if these operating accessories live up to the advertised operatating play value!

3) I was wondering if the Atlas O 2-rail flat cars can be run on 3-rail? Does it involve buying 3-rail trucks and swapping them out?

Thanks for all the useful knowledge ya'll put out here!

Can't help you with questions #1 and 2.

The Atlas 2rail cars can be used on a 3rail layout. The only possible problems mite be the size of the flange on smaller radius curves, mite want to climb the track, and if you are planning on using an isolated rail to operate an accessory with the wheels on the same axle being electrically isolated from each other.
